To comply with evolving Internet security standards, and in alignment with the support policies of the various web browser software vendors, we are changing our minimum system requirements effective 5 January 2016.
While existing ADP features may continue to work with older web browsers, newly-developed features (including the CPD Repository Pilot) may not function as expected on unsupported browsers. It may also become necessary to update existing features in the future, and these updates may cause the site to no longer function as expected on unsupported browsers.
Please see below for the updated ADP system requirements.
Supported Web Browsers
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 9 or newer (11 or newer recommended)
- Microsoft Edge 20 or newer*
- Google Chrome 30 or newer*
- Mozilla Firefox 38 or newer*
- Opera 34 or newer*
- Apple Safari 9 or newer
* For web browsers with a rapid release cycle, including Edge, Chrome, Firefox, and Opera, please use the latest supported version from the browser manufacturer.
Supported Operating Systems
- Windows Vista SP2 or newer (Windows 7 or newer recommended)
- Apple OS X 10.9 or newer
- Variants of Linux that support the aforementioned browsers
Additional Requirements:
- Adobe Flash Player 18.0.0.324 or newer** on Windows and Apple OS X
- Adobe Flash Player 11.2.202.559 or newer** on Linux
- Adobe Reader XI or newer on Windows and Macintosh, or other compatible PDF viewer software (to view/print certificates and invoices)
- Your monitor must support a resolution of at least 1024 pixels wide, and at least 720 pixels tall. On small/low-resolution monitors, we recommend running the browser in full-screen mode.
- Your browser must accept “cookies” to complete the registration process.
** While the ADP will continue to function on many older versions of Adobe Flash Player from version 11 on, prior versions contain security vulnerabilities. To protect the safety of your computer while using the ADP, we recommend always upgrading to the latest version of Adobe Flash Player.
NOTE: Some firewall software has been known to interfere with connectivity to the ADP. If you experience trouble connecting, but can still connect to other Internet sites, please try disabling the firewall software, or adding the iatfadp.com domain to the firewall’s exception list.
