Updated Store Checkout Process

December 19, 2023 2:18 am / admin

Effective 18 December 2023, the IATF ADP now has an updated Store Checkout system. We simplified the checkout steps to make the purchase process faster and easier to understand. If you have any questions, please find instructions for the payment process in this support article. CB Administrators may also find updates to the relevant sections of the CB Administrator Guidebook by visiting the help options on the IATF ADP Admin Site.

We would also like to remind everyone that it’s possible to pay for all payment-pending IATF ADP invoices by credit card by visiting our Invoice Management site. You may also use this site to notify us when sending payment by bank or check to help speed up the payment identification process.

Please note that, if you generate a payment-pending invoice in the ADP and this invoice is not paid within one year of issuance, we will consider this old invoice “cancelled” and you will have to generate a new invoice through the ADP if you still want to purchase the related item. Invoices generated prior to 2023 but not yet paid in the ADP will be cancelled automatically early in the new year, and so on in subsequent years.

If you have any payment-related questions or concerns, please review the articles in the Invoices & Payments section of the IATF ADP Help Desk, or send us a Support Ticket and our team will be happy to assist you.

Updated ADP Support Request Process

November 23, 2022 9:47 pm / admin

The ADP now has a Help Desk at help.iatfadp.com! You can use this site to find answers to frequently-asked questions and instructions on how to perform key tasks in the ADP, such as paying for invoices, scheduling for assessments, and more.

If you have any issues that require assistance from the ADP Support Team, submit your requests by creating a support ticket on the ADP Help Desk website. This will help us speed up the support process and prioritize areas for ADP and Help Desk improvement. The current email addresses, such as techsupport@iatfadp.com, will be retired as of February 2023, and you will no longer be able to send in new support requests by email. (After submitting the Support Ticket via the Help Desk website, we will still use email for the conversation with you after that.) You may also continue to contact us by phone from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm Eastern Time (UTC-5, or UTC-4 during Daylight Savings Time), at +1 (226) 777-0156 or 1-888-581-9897.

Thank you for your cooperation!

Updated Bank/Wire Transfer Details for ADP Invoices

November 23, 2022 9:14 pm / admin

For all customers sending ADP payments by bank/wire transfer or ACH, please note that Plexus updated the bank account information used for ADP invoices effective 23 November 2022. Payments may continue to be sent to the previous bank account for the indefinite future, but all auditors and CB offices should update their records and send to the new bank account going forward. This change will help improve the speed and reliability of payment processing when sending payment by bank/wire. When sending bank/wire transfers to this new account, you will indicate the Beneficiary Name as “Plexus International”; this should reduce the need for additional verification that has been required by some banks in recent years.

To access the updated banking details, please consult the information shown in any newly-generated ADP invoice, or visit our Invoice Management website at https://invoice.iatfadp.com/ using the details from any pending-payment invoice.

If your company needs official documentation to support this change in banking account details in internal accounting systems, please send a support request. Please allow 1 to 2 weeks for official documentation to be sent in reply to your request.

End of Internet Explorer 11 Support

March 11, 2022 10:58 pm / admin

In accordance with the Microsoft’s Internet Explorer support lifecycle policy, we will be discontinuing support for Internet Explorer 11 effective 15 June 2022. While we do not expect features to immediately break in Internet Explorer on this date, we will no longer provide support for problems that occur when accessing the site through this browser (or any other third-party browser that may embed Internet Explorer technology).

We recommend that Windows users upgrade to a more modern web browser, such as Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, or Mozilla Firefox. You may need to contact your local IT department for assistance in installing an alternative web browser. It is also possible to access certain features using the web browser on modern smartphone and tablet devices.

Updated Data Privacy and Protection Policy

May 19, 2018 7:50 am / admin

As part of continued efforts to improve the IATF ADP, and in support of the EU General Data Protection Directive coming into effect later this month, Plexus International (data controllers of the IATF ADP website in collaboration with the IATF) released an updated Data Privacy and Protection Policy. This new policy provides clearer information about what personal data is collected and processed, the purpose of collecting that data, and what rights you may have related to that data. The updated policy also includes additional information about the IATF ADP website’s use of cookies and other similar technological measures that assist us in identifying you when you access the website. Although these updates were intended to address the requirements of the new EU regulation, we are pleased to extend the same data privacy protections to all IATF ADP website users worldwide. We invite everyone to review the new policy at their earliest convenience, and to contact us regarding any questions or concerns.

End of Support for Older Operating Systems/Browsers (effective May 2018)

March 5, 2018 10:11 pm / admin

To comply with evolving Internet security standards and industry requirements, and in alignment with the support policies of the various web browser software vendors, we are changing our minimum system requirements effective 1 May 2018.

Please note specifically that this change discontinues support for Windows Vista and all versions of Internet Explorer prior to 11. If you are still using these older operating systems or browsers, you may no longer be able to access the website as of 1 May 2018.

Please see below for the updated system requirements:

Supported Web Browsers

  • Google Chrome 60 or newer*
  • Mozilla Firefox 52 or newer*
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 11
  • Microsoft Edge 14 or newer*
  • Opera 34 or newer*
  • Apple Safari 11 or newer

* For web browsers with a rapid release cycle, including Edge, Chrome, Firefox, and Opera, please use the latest supported version from the browser manufacturer.

Supported Operating Systems

  • Windows 7 or newer
  • Apple MacOS X 10.11 or newer
  • Distributions of Linux that support the aforementioned browsers

Additional Requirements:

  • Adobe Flash Player 27.0.0.187 or newer** on Windows, MacOS, and Linux
  • Adobe Reader DC or newer on Windows and Macintosh, or other compatible PDF viewer software (to view/print certificates and invoices)
  • Your monitor must support a resolution of at least 1024 pixels wide, and at least 720 pixels tall. On small/low-resolution monitors, we recommend running the browser in full-screen mode.
  • Your browser must accept “cookies” to complete the registration process.

** While the website will continue to function on many older versions of Adobe Flash Player from version 11 on, prior versions contain security vulnerabilities. To protect the safety of your computer while using the the, we recommend always upgrading to the latest version of Adobe Flash Player.

NOTE: Some firewall software has been known to interfere with connectivity to this website. If you experience trouble connecting, but can still connect to other Internet sites, please try disabling the firewall software, or adding the iatfadp.com domain to the firewall’s exception list.

Rescinding of Certain Mandatory Training Requirements for New Auditors

November 23, 2016 10:58 pm / admin

This update relates to active auditors who entered the ADP in 2016 (“new auditors”).

In light of the release of the Rules for Achieving and Maintaining IATF Recognition 5th Edition for IATF 16949 (“Rules 5”) and the upcoming release of the Rules 5 Training in the ADP (explained in CB Communiqué 2016-006), the requirement for new auditors to complete the Rules 4th Edition Training and Quiz Modules (established in CB Communiqué 2013-007) is no longer applicable and has been rescinded. While it will still be possible to access the Rules 4th Edition Training until the release of the Rules 5 Training, new auditors are no longer required to complete this training module within three months of entering the ADP, or to successfully pass the related quiz. The requirement has been automatically removed from all ADP accounts. Auditors who had not yet completed the Rules 4 Quiz are no longer required to complete it.

Additionally, new auditors are no longer required to complete the IATF ADP Training Module updates (established since CB Communiqué 2014-007). The Process Approach and NC Management training modules remain active in the ADP, and all auditors are encouraged to review them, but these training modules are no longer mandatory for new auditors. This requirement has been automatically removed from all ADP accounts.

Auditors may continue to claim the related CPD hours when they complete the aforementioned training modules for the first time.

The requirements related to the OEM Scorecard training modules and quizzes, established in CB Communiqué 2015-005 and CB Communiqué 2016-007 remain in effect.

The IATF 16949 and Rules 5 Training and Quiz modules are scheduled to be made available in the ADP in mid-December 2016.
