Updated ADP Support Request Process

November 23, 2022 9:47 pm / admin

The ADP now has a Help Desk at help.iatfadp.com! You can use this site to find answers to frequently-asked questions and instructions on how to perform key tasks in the ADP, such as paying for invoices, scheduling for assessments, and more.

If you have any issues that require assistance from the ADP Support Team, submit your requests by creating a support ticket on the ADP Help Desk website. This will help us speed up the support process and prioritize areas for ADP and Help Desk improvement. The current email addresses, such as techsupport@iatfadp.com, will be retired as of February 2023, and you will no longer be able to send in new support requests by email. (After submitting the Support Ticket via the Help Desk website, we will still use email for the conversation with you after that.) You may also continue to contact us by phone from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm Eastern Time (UTC-5, or UTC-4 during Daylight Savings Time), at +1 (226) 777-0156 or 1-888-581-9897.

Thank you for your cooperation!

End of Internet Explorer 11 Support

March 11, 2022 10:58 pm / admin

In accordance with the Microsoft’s Internet Explorer support lifecycle policy, we will be discontinuing support for Internet Explorer 11 effective 15 June 2022. While we do not expect features to immediately break in Internet Explorer on this date, we will no longer provide support for problems that occur when accessing the site through this browser (or any other third-party browser that may embed Internet Explorer technology).

We recommend that Windows users upgrade to a more modern web browser, such as Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, or Mozilla Firefox. You may need to contact your local IT department for assistance in installing an alternative web browser. It is also possible to access certain features using the web browser on modern smartphone and tablet devices.

August 20, 2020 12:20 am / admin

The IATF has migrated from the traditional OEM Scorecard Training Modules previously accessible to auditors in the IATF ADP to a OEM Reference Guide. Introducing the new IATF ADP Auditor Website

October 23, 2018 5:55 am / admin

This week, we are introducing a brand-new IATF ADP Auditor website redesigned from the ground up to make it easier to access key auditor tasks across a variety of devices.  As with many website redesigns, though, this means that many of the links and features moved to different locations, and you may need a few minutes to adjust to the changes.  This news post will give you a quick tour of what to expect when the new site launches Wednesday evening (Thursday in some markets).

New IATF ADP Login Screen

The first thing you will notice is the new, streamlined login screen.  Although the screen looks very different, you can continue to use the same account and password you’ve already been using.  The website no longer requires Adobe Flash Player; if you previously had to approve its use every time, you will no longer need to do so.

After you log in, you’ll be taken to the new Dashboard.  If you’re familiar with the existing ADP website, you’ll notice that some of the existing features are still there, such as the Task List, News section, and redesigned Competency Profile.  (The test auditor in this screenshot is not doing very well!)  You’ll also now also see a convenient summary of your CPD Status in both the current and previous reporting period, and a blue bar at the very top of the screen that highlights any important pending task.  All the other main features can be accessed through the other tab listings at the top: “Training & Assessments,” “CPD Tracking,” “Store,” “Session Scheduling,” and “History & Certificates.”

The “Training & Assessments” tab contains the list of accessible online modules.  Modules indicated as “completed” show that you reached the end, but you can continue to access them for further review.  Please note that, as always, you will not be able to access assessments outside a proctored session.  The interface for training and assessments does not look very different, but we actually completely rebuilt it behind the scenes to no longer require Adobe Flash Player.  We also currently have a test feature (“beta”) where you can access training modules through the web browsers on mobile devices and tablets (supporting recent versions iOS and Android), so please feel free to try it out and send us your feedback.

When you click the “CPD Tracker” tab, you will be prompted to move to the CPD Tracker website.  This will happen seamlessly, and you can use the left-facing arrow in the top-right corner to return to the ADP Dashboard.

The “Store” tab provides a list of all the items available for purchase.  Simply add one or more items to your Cart, and proceed through the purchasing process.  You can pay immediately via credit card, or generate an invoice to pay later via bank transfer or cheque.  Please note that access will not be granted until payment has been received, and international bank transfers may take a long time for processing.  We recommend using a credit card for time-sensitive payments.

In cases where your CB has an item available for purchase but has not yet forwarded this item to you, this will also be indicated on the Store.  Each CB has a different policy regarding fee payment, so please contact your CB for further clarification if you are unable to pay for a listed item.

On the “Session Scheduling” tab you’ll find consolidated access to all scheduling-related features, including information about already-scheduled sessions (with the option to Cancel as long as the session has not already been approved), the ability to schedule for new sessions (based on the tasks that need scheduling), and a general Event List that shows the full list of scheduling options.  After you select the tasks to schedule, use the calendar to find the session that works best for you.  If you are scheduling for only a few retakes, you will have the option to choose either the morning or afternoon time block.  Once the session is confirmed, you’ll receive a copy of the Joining Letter by email.

The “History & Certificates” tab consolidates all information about past actions, including your completed Training/Assessment modules, earned certificates, and generated invoices (also known as Billing Statements).  If you have invoices pending payment, you will also be able to follow a link directly to the ADP Invoice website for a list of payment options.

As one final point, we want to draw your attention to the gear icon in the top-right corner of the website.  By clicking this gear, you’ll be able to access other options including Profile Settings (to manage your email address and password), Organization Assignments (to request new CB sponsorships and review existing sponsorships), and the Logout feature.  Don’t forget to click or tap the gear to access these useful features.

This has been a brief overview of the new IATF ADP website, scheduled to launch this Wednesday evening (UTC time).  We hope you’ll find the new site convenient and easy to use, but if you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us at IATF ADP Technical Support.

Updated Data Privacy and Protection Policy

May 19, 2018 7:50 am / admin

As part of continued efforts to improve the IATF ADP, and in support of the EU General Data Protection Directive coming into effect later this month, Plexus International (data controllers of the IATF ADP website in collaboration with the IATF) released an updated Data Privacy and Protection Policy. This new policy provides clearer information about what personal data is collected and processed, the purpose of collecting that data, and what rights you may have related to that data. The updated policy also includes additional information about the IATF ADP website’s use of cookies and other similar technological measures that assist us in identifying you when you access the website. Although these updates were intended to address the requirements of the new EU regulation, we are pleased to extend the same data privacy protections to all IATF ADP website users worldwide. We invite everyone to review the new policy at their earliest convenience, and to contact us regarding any questions or concerns.

Rescinding of Certain Mandatory Training Requirements for New Auditors

November 23, 2016 10:58 pm / admin

This update relates to active auditors who entered the ADP in 2016 (“new auditors”).

In light of the release of the Rules for Achieving and Maintaining IATF Recognition 5th Edition for IATF 16949 (“Rules 5”) and the upcoming release of the Rules 5 Training in the ADP (explained in CB Communiqué 2016-006), the requirement for new auditors to complete the Rules 4th Edition Training and Quiz Modules (established in CB Communiqué 2013-007) is no longer applicable and has been rescinded. While it will still be possible to access the Rules 4th Edition Training until the release of the Rules 5 Training, new auditors are no longer required to complete this training module within three months of entering the ADP, or to successfully pass the related quiz. The requirement has been automatically removed from all ADP accounts. Auditors who had not yet completed the Rules 4 Quiz are no longer required to complete it.

Additionally, new auditors are no longer required to complete the IATF ADP Training Module updates (established since CB Communiqué 2014-007). The Process Approach and NC Management training modules remain active in the ADP, and all auditors are encouraged to review them, but these training modules are no longer mandatory for new auditors. This requirement has been automatically removed from all ADP accounts.

Auditors may continue to claim the related CPD hours when they complete the aforementioned training modules for the first time.

The requirements related to the OEM Scorecard training modules and quizzes, established in CB Communiqué 2015-005 and CB Communiqué 2016-007 remain in effect.

The IATF 16949 and Rules 5 Training and Quiz modules are scheduled to be made available in the ADP in mid-December 2016.
